Student Welcome Officer
Location: Bloomsbury, London
Contract: Permanent, Part-time (32.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, plus one weekend day per month)
Salary: £23,512.64 per annum (£25,321.30 FTE)

We’re looking for a Student Welcome Officer to join our friendly team at our vibrant Bloomsbury campus – home to the prestigious KLC School of Design.

In this front-of-house role, you’ll be the first point of contact for students, tutors, and visitors, making sure everyone feels supported and at home from the moment they arrive. Alongside greeting and assisting visitors, you’ll handle enquiries, keep our student common room welcoming and well-maintained, and provide occasional support with catering and events.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same – you could be helping a new student settle in, liaising with colleagues to solve a facilities issue, or ensuring our welcome space runs smoothly. What we’re looking for:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable manner

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure

• Confidence with IT systems (Microsoft Office) and basic admin tasks

• A team player with a proactive, solutions-focused attitude
