This is an attractive prospect for someone looking to work closely with a qualified and experienced Financial Controller on driving the business forward to the next phase. Job spec:

• Quarter end management accounts including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance Reconciliation.
• Complete commentary on management accounts.
• Respond in a timely manner to FC & FD's review points.
• Assist in Budgeting for Business Plans and investment appraisals
• Assist in preparation of Statutory Accounts for the Group
• Support the FC in regards Audit, Statutory work and company sec work.
• Report on Group Consolidated Accounts.
• Eventually take responsibility for preparing VAT, CIS and other statutory returns. To be reviewed by FC.
• Adhoc requests

Person requirements:

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA or nearing end of the qualification
• Good MS Excel skills
• Ability to get involved in the business
• Strong business partnering experience
• Proactive and professional attitude
• Strong consolidation and Standards Knowledge
• Willingness to learn
