An Eastbourne based accountancy firm are looking for some help through a busy period.

Because they are recruiting the job on a permanent basis, they will be some flexibility over the initial period of hire so some flexibility will be required.

Like most accountancy firms, they do require experience from within a practice but there is flexibility in that this doesn't have to be your current or even previous role. If you are between jobs and ideally looking at commercial business but willing to go back to a firm for the next couple of months, then we'd be pleased to schedule a call.

You will work closely with the senior management in a diverse and busy role. The office is centrally based and just a short walk from Eastbourne train station.

About you:

• Possibly AAT qualified or studying for the qualification
• Have current or recent experience of working within an accountancy firm
• You don't necessarily need experience of working with nonprofit or charity clients but it would be beneficial
• First class communication and presentation skills

A full job specification is available for all shortlisted candidates with selected duties to include:

• Completion of financial statements for various small and medium sized businesses
• Drafting income tax and corporate tax computations and completion of tax returns
• Assisting Charities with their in-house accounting functions, including bookkeeping and financial management
