A well-established accountancy practice are looking for a part-time Tax Manager to join their growing team, based in Maidstone, Kent. The part-time hours would be 20-25 hours per week, with flexibility around the hours/days worked.

The role will primarily be focussed on Personal Tax, however, some experience of Corporation Tax would be an advantage. It would suit someone who is CTA qualified or who has completed the ATT and has a few years working within an accountancy practice post qualification. Experience of managing a small team within an Accountancy environment is not essential but would enhance your application.

Experience within Private Client, including Trusts, Partnerships or Probate would be an advantage and would allow a greater variety of work within the role. Compliance will be a large portion of the work you will be undertaking, however, there will also be the opportunity to provide advice in relation to CGT and IHT.

The office is in central Maidstone and is just a short walk from Maidstone West train station.

About You

• ATT and/or CTA qualified
• Experience of managing a tax team is desirable
• Strong experience in a personal tax environment
• Comfortable dealing with all levels of individuals
• Confident liaising with clients
• Should have a minimum of 24 months practice experience

The salary associated with this role has been set by the agency and should, therefore, be viewed as market rate.
