A leading Property Management business based in Central Brighton are seeking a dynamic and energetic Senior Management Accountant to join their newly restructured team.

This is a broad facing role, with close contact to the FC and FD, which would suit a newly qualified candidate seeking a progressive, hands on role.

Working within a small team, you'll have a fantastic exposure to all financial aspects of this busy and dynamic business and will ideally bring a creative, ambitious streak to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall Payroll responsibility including pension queries and HMRC returns (P11D's, PSA etc)
• Responsibility for on-going maintenance and control of Purchase & Sales Ledgers and payments
• All month-end processes
• Journal creation & monthly processing
• Closing process
• Month-end control processes
• VAT returns
• Approve Bank Rec
• Creation of management accounts and board reports
• Creation of statutory accounts
• Run annual audit
• Overall responsibility for expenses process
• Maintenance and administration of accounting systems
• Ad hoc reporting and analyses
• Ad hoc projects

About you:

• Likely newly or recently qualified (ACCA/CIMA)
• Demonstrated experience within a varied management accounts role
• A strong all rounder with the ability to support senior level staff
• Dynamic, positive and energetic with a willingness to learn
• Strong IT skills (prior experience with Sage ideal)
• Personable and a strong team player
