Working with a boutique accountancy firm in Haslemere, just south of Guildford, that are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their well established team. This position is a good next step for someone that is looking to develop their career and get involved with some reviewing of accounts and some management responsibilities.

The office is just a 2 minute walk from Haslemere train station or just a short walk to a public car park.

About You

• Must have recent experience working within a boutique accountancy practice
• 5+ years experience in accountancy
• Complete all rounded knowledge of IRIS is essential, including use of it for preparing tax returns and reviewing accounts
• Confident with all areas of accounts and tax
• Comfortable reviewing accounts at 1st stage and sending them on to the directors
• Happy working closely with the directors and taking on some of their workload
• Some client facing work
• Accountancy qualifications would be useful but not essential
• First class communication and presentation skills
• Positive attitude when working within a team
