We are looking for additional Cookery tutors in Crawley to join our Community Learning Faculty team to deliver sessional courses to adults (19 years plus) from September 2017. We are currently recruiting for the following courses: Course: Curries in a Hurry Location: Ifield Community College, Crawley Day: Thursday Start time: 19:00 End Time: 21:00 Start Date: 21 September 2017 End Date: 5 October 2017 Course: Indian Side Dishes & Snacks Location: Ifield Community College, Crawley Day: Thursday Start time: 19:00 End Time: 21:00 Start Date: 2 November 2017 End Date: 16 November 2017 Further courses may be available to teach following the above sessions. Applicants should have a Level 3 or higher teaching qualification along with a Cookery & Food Hygiene qualification. Applicants must have previous experience within this subject specialism and be able to adapt teaching and learning strategies and select resources as appropriate in order to meet student needs. In addition applicants will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to lead, develop and motivate adult students to achieve their learning goals. Excellent record keeping skills and the ability to demonstrate relevant ICT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail and Internet will also be needed.
