A local Charity is looking to expand their team. They are looking to recruit an experienced Events Fundraising Manager.

Skills required:-

• Experience within a similar role
• Be highly motivated
• Have excellent customer service skills
• IT literate
• Be prepared to work some evenings and weekend
• Be able to work well under pressure

Duties will entail, but will but be limited to:-

• Coordinate and deliver a planned special and mass participation events programme for a variety of different target audiences, ensuring events are delivered on time and to budget, and ensuring the charities income and profile are maximised at all times.
• Plan resource required to deliver the charity events programme, and work with the Head of Community, Corporate and Events to recruit volunteers required.
• To manage volunteers for event fundraising, both in the office and at events, working with Fundraising Administrator and Events Fundraising Executive.
• Line manage Events Fundraising Executive,
• To ensure events are compliant with all Health & Safety requirements, insurance cover
• Briefing of, negotiating and liaising with, agencies and suppliers
• Work across fundraising and the wider organisation to ensure that opportunities are maximised and challenge events to further objectives of the charity, such as awareness and cross promotion.
• All ad hoc duties
