Business Development Manager

Woking – will be moving to Leatherhead in March/April time

£25,000 + £6K car allowance, £3-7k annual bonus + Company pension scheme, 28 days holiday including bank holidays and parking.

Building and maintaining an effective and efficient relationship with current as well as new customers by visiting care homes, promoting optical services and products whilst providing highest standard of customer service.

You will be responsible for the following;

• Creating new business through visits to Care Homes and maximizing any sales opportunities
• Developing new customers base through cold calling
• Maintaining high customer retention by providing excellent customer service at any opportunity and creating a remarkable first impression.
• Presenting the features and benefits in different formats depending upon the situation and meeting environment
• Handling customer queries and complaints
• Representing the company at conferences and seminars and promoting the services and products we provide to a broader spectrum of spectators.
• Managing and planning your diary and updating the computer system to allow efficient work flow.
• Completing reports for various heads of departments when requested.
• Recommending changes to the Sales & Marketing Director that will improve both quality and efficiency of the Company's operation and act accordingly
• Keep up-to-date with the KPI's
• Actively participate in team meetings to look for areas of improvement and receive feedback.

Must have's

• A full clean UK driving license and a car
• Strong BDM experience
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Empathy and understanding to the environment
